How to Adjust Fix your Tattoo Machine Gun

If you do not know how to deal with the machines or the kit when you have some problems, please look at the instruction, it can help you to set up the kit and fix some problems of your machines. A tattoo is simply inserting a pigment into the skin deep enough that the body’s immune system can’t reject or destroy it.
1. Purchase a tattoo machine repair kit that contains a variety of replacement screws, washers, grommets and small tools for adjustments.
2. Locate and inspect the armature assembly of your machine. It is a distance that the machine will cause the needle travel on each "stroke". It can range from 1mm to 1/2 an inch,so this is an important part of the process.Adjust the bar of the armature with a screwdriver if it is in contact with the front coil of the machine. Unscrew the contact screw until the armature bar is able to move up and down freely.
3. Adjust the needle placement of your unit to ensure proper flow of ink. Set the needle farther out if you are using thin ink and deeper into the needle holder for more control of thick-flowing ink. Make the adjustment with a screwdriver.4. Ensure that the bar that attaches the needle to the armature is not worn and replace it if it is not allowing the needle bar to move easily. 5. Adjust the coils of your unit and remember they are the heart of your machine. Ensure that they are always properly wrapped and are sending the proper amount of power to the machine from the power unit. Re-wrap coils or replace as necessary based on the type of tattoo machine you are using.6. Connect the clip cord and the footswitch to the power, turn on the Power, and check the indicator light, Red means the power is working, but the tattoo machine still can't work, please examine all the wires carefully, make sure all is connect well. Replace any fuses, if necessary.7. Lube any moving parts of the machine that your manual indicates need oil on a regular basis, to ensure proper movement and ease of operation.8. Run your machine through a test cycle before each use and after any repairs or adjustments. Make further adjustments accordingly.
